You can meet all kinds of people on the climb, from small children to men and women in their seventies out for a stroll.

It is most visited on holidays and weekends, so I recommend climbing Ajusco early on a weekday morning so you can enjoy the summit at your leisure. It is relatively easy to reach both peaks in half a day, although you may need to allow an hour or an hour and a half to spend on the mountain.
